 Bamboos are a group of woody perennial evergreen plants in the true grass family Poaceae according to Wikipedia. This sounds a tough one to follow but here are the details in simple language and these are

Used very much in the East Asia and South East Asia cultures especially in their homes for decorations as well as for the home building purposes.   

 To grow bamboo or for that any other plant there are a few things that you will need to be careful about and these are the sun, soil and water. Of course each plant needs some nutrients and these nutrients will be a must for any plant.  

Bamboo plants need a soil that is acidic and they also need a loamy soil. Bamboo plants need a lot of sun and also a lot of water to grow and hence you will find abundance of them in China, India and other South East Asian countries. They mostly need tropical and sub- tropical climates.
